Back Into the Fire (PG-13) - I finally saw Star Trek Beyond and while I was bored crapless at the lack of plot, I didn't hate it the way I did Star Trek Into Darkness, which actually made me quit writing reboot fics. So...since I didn't hate it, I decided to make use of the holes they left me and reinsert my favorite gal back into this shindig. (Short Story/6,600 words)
Better Sorry Than Safe (R) - We all knew it was only a matter of time before I tackled Reboot Kirk and Chapel, right? Video for "Better Sorry than Safe" is here. It's an acoustic version but Halestorm still rock it. (Novelette/7,600 words)
Damaged (R) - They're functionally damaged, but they test well. Bodies of cast iron and hearts of shattered glass. That's how Jim Kirk, Christine Chapel, and Gaila manage to stay in Starfleet. And sometimes you need friends who've been there to understand. Not a threesome story, just a story about connections and trust. And an opportunity for me to write Gaila, which I've not done before. (Novelette/12,000 words)

Because I loved the new McCoy. And I imagined Tricia Helfer as Chapel. And it was all good and made me happy.
The Beautiful Tennessee Waltz (R) - "And while they were dancing, my friend stole my sweetheart from me." I was listening to Leonard Cohen's version of The Tennessee Waltz (check it out here) and I got this idea for a new McCoy/Chapel. (Short Story/4,900 words)
New Girl (R) - McCoy tries to get to know his new head nurse. (Short Story/4,100 words)

Vignettes from a Voyage Nearly Undone (R) - An ensemble piece, following a bit of a serpentine path after the events of the movie. Most of the reboot characters I've written get a voice in this. Spock Prime/Chapel, Pike/Number One, and Spock/Uhura are the primary pairings. (Novelette/7,800 words)
What Makes You Stay? (R) - Reboot Fic. What makes her stay? Pike/Number One with the reboot kids horning in on the plot way too much. Another of my favorite stories ever. (Short Story/7,000 words)

Some Kind of Chemistry (R) - This is for murphycat and she knows why. Spock Prime brought more than just bad luck with him to the past, only he thought this particular piece of baggage--literal not figurative--was lost when his ship was destroyed taking out Narada. Fortunately for him, he was wrong. This is bitchy Chapel at her best. It's silly, and it allows me to gently skewer the film and my own stories. (Novelette/9,400 words)
